Lake Kaweah Fishing has been impacted by a decrease in the lake's water level. The river is the best place to catch trout. They are biting on crickets. Night fishing with chicken liver and anchovies is best for catfish. Bass are scattered throughout the lake at 35 to 40-foot depths. They can be caught by drop shotting jigs.
